1: Little Bird Story

Once upon a time. There was a dense forest, in which all kinds of small and big animals and birds were home. A small bird also lived by making a nest on a tree in the same forest.

One day a huge fire broke out in that forest. There was an uproar in all the creatures. Everyone started running for their lives. The tree on which the little bird used to live was also caught in the fire. He too had to leave his nest.

But she did not panic seeing the forest fire. She immediately went to the river and filled her beak with water and returned to the forest. After sprinkling water in the fire in the beak, she again went towards the river. In this way, by filling water in her beak from the river, she started pouring it into the forest fire again and again.

When the rest of the animals saw her doing this, they started laughing and said, "Hey bird queen, what are you doing? You are extinguishing the forest fire with a beak full of water. Quit stupidity and run for your life. The forest fire will not be extinguished like this."

Hearing their words, the little bird said, "If you want to run away, then run. I will not run. This forest is my home and I will do my best to protect my home. Then no one should support me."

Hearing the bird, the heads of all the animals bowed in shame. He realized his mistake. Everyone apologized to the little bird and then started trying to extinguish the fire in the forest with him. Eventually, his hard work paid off and the forest fire was extinguished.

Lesson - no matter how big the adversity? Never give up without trying.

The farmer was satisfied with his life. But his wife was greedy for more money. One day she went to the farmer and said, "How long will we continue to earn a little money by selling each egg? Why not take out all the golden eggs from the hen's stomach in one go and sell them. In this way, we will collect a lot of money in one go and become very rich.”

The farmer liked his wife's words. He took a big knife and went to the chicken den. There the stomach of the hen that laid the golden egg was ripped with that knife. But what is this? There was not a single golden egg in his stomach. Seeing this, the farmer and his wife started regretting their actions. Due to their greed, the hen that lays the golden egg every day died and nothing came into their hands. That's why it is said that greed is a bad force.

Lesson - From this story, it is learned that the fruit of greed is bad. In the end, due to greed, nothing is left but remorse.

3: The Story of the Wise Parrot

Once upon a time. A parrot lives with its two children in a dense forest. His life was passing happily.

One day a hunter passing through the forest caught sight of a beautiful pair of parrot babies. He thought that this parrot was a very beautiful gift to give to the king. He caught those parrots and took them to the king.

When he gave those parrots as a gift to the king, the king was very happy and gave 100 gold coins to the hunter as a reward.

After being brought to the palace, parrots became the center of attraction for everyone. He was kept in a gold cage. All the time the servants kept running after him. Fresh fruits of various kinds were fed to them. The king loved him very much. The prince also used to come and play with him in the morning and evening. Both the parrots were very happy to have such a life.

One day the younger parrot said to the elder parrot, “Brother, how lucky are we to be brought to this palace and have such a comfortable life. How much everyone here loves us. How much does he care for us?

“Yes brother, here we get everything we need without any effort. Our life has become more comfortable than before. The best part is that here we get love from everyone."

The parrot was enjoying the blissful life of the palace. But one day everything changed. The hunter who had gifted the parrots to the king came again to the court. This time he gifted a black monkey to the king.

Now the black monkey was the center of attraction in the palace. All the servants started looking after him. Special care was taken for his food and drink. Everyone stopped paying attention to parrots. Even the prince started playing with monkeys instead of parrots.

Seeing this little parrot was very sad. He said to the big parrot, "Brother, this black monkey has taken away all our happiness. Because of this, no one pays any attention to us anymore.

The big parrot said, "Nothing is permanent, my brother. Time does not take long to change."

A few days passed. The monkey was mischievous. One day he caused a lot of disturbance in the palace. The servants were harassed a lot. The prince was also frightened by his actions.

When the king came to know about the monkey's actions, he ordered him to leave in the forest. Following the order, the monkey was released into the forest.

From that day onwards, parrots again became the center of attraction in the palace. Now the little parrot was very happy. He said to the big parrot, "Our days are back again, brother."

The big parrot said, "Remember my brother. Time never stays the same. Therefore, when time does not support it, then one should not be sad. If there are bad times, then there will also be good times.

The little parrot understood the point of the big parrot and decided that he would keep patience in bad times.

Lesson - Nothing is permanent. With time everything changes. So be patient in difficult times.

4: The story of the fox and the crow

A fox was hungry for two days. She was wandering in the forest in search of food. Even after wandering all day, he could not get food. Exhausted, she sat down under a tree to rest.

After some time a crow came and sat on the tree just in front of the tree under which she was resting. He had a piece of bread in his mouth.

Seeing the piece of bread in the mouth of the crow, the fox's mouth watered. She started thinking of a way to get that piece of bread. As soon as the remedy came to mind, she reached under that tree and while tying the bridge of praise of the crow, said, “Crow brother! you look so beautiful You know you are the most beautiful bird in the world. There is no one like you."

Hearing his praise, the crow did not swell with joy. But he remained silent. The fox said again, "Crow brother! What about your voice? She is very melodious. Will I be fortunate enough to hear your song?

Now the crow is no more. He wanted to get more praise from the fox by singing the song. He forgot that he had a piece of bread in his mouth and started singing. As soon as he opened his mouth, a piece of bread fell down. The fox was looking for this, he quickly grabbed the piece of bread and kept walking from there.

5: The Story of the Cunning Chicken

There lived a rooster in a village. He used to wake up the villagers by giving a bang every morning. One day a jackal came to the village roaming from somewhere. When he saw the chicken, his saliva started dripping.

He reached up to grab the chicken and said, "Friend! I have come to you after hearing your voice. Your voice is so melodious."

Hearing the jackal, the rooster did not swell with joy and started to "kook-doo-Koo" loudly.

Seeing the opportunity here, the jackal buried the chicken in its mouth and started running towards the forest.

While running towards the forest, the villagers saw the jackal and they ran to kill him with sticks. The jackal got scared and started running fast. Then the rooster thought of a way to escape from the jackal's clutches and he said to the jackal, "Look, these villagers are chasing you because of me. Tell them that I am yours, not theirs. They will stop chasing you."

The jackal got into the rooster's talk and opened its mouth to speak. But as soon as he opened his mouth, the rooster flew away and went to the villagers.

Lesson - One should act wisely in times of crisis.
